Methods to follow for Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 8, and Internet Explorer 7
 
Method 1: Reset the Internet Explorer settings
In these versions of Internet Explorer, you can repair damaged files or missing registration information. To reset the Internet Explorer settings manually, follow these steps:
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset
4. In the ResetInternet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset to confirm.

Method 3: Install Windows XP Service Pack 3
For Internet Explorer 7

  • Visit Microsoft Update.
  • Click Express Install (Recommended).

  • Review the Microsoft Software License Terms. Then, if you agree with the terms, click to accept them
